If you want something more permanent on your floor, we can lay natural stone or slate. Perhaps you prefer ceramic or porcelain floor tiles, or opt for the contemporary industrial vibe of a polished concrete.
Tiles Take Centre Stage
Once upon a time tiles were only used on walls as splashbacks in bathrooms and kitchens, purely for utilitarian reasons. In modern homes, however, the vast range of decorative porcelain and ceramic tiles available has seen tiles take centre stage, adding colour, texture, pattern and scale to walls everywhere from the living room and hallway to the staircase.
Tiling is a skilled job, success depending on thorough preparation of the wall as well as the proficiency of the tiler. Fender Developments are fortunate to have professional tilers available who not only know all there is to know about tiles, but also have the artistry and dexterity to perfectly tile a surface, large or small.
We know just how many tiles are needed for your tiling project so there is little or no wastage. We also use the most suitable adhesive for the job – for example water-resistant for bathrooms, wet rooms and kitchens. Careful preparation of the surface involves removing old tiles, repairing plaster if necessary, removal of old fittings like screws, levelling the surface, sanding down and coating with appropriate primer.
